Rock Cycle

A naturally formed rock formation, resembling a pot, adorned with lichen growth, serves as a significant illustration of the rock cycle. The lichen, as it continues to grow, gradually erodes the rock, ultimately transforming the “pot” back into soil. This unique geological feature was discovered on the Rankin Ranch in Grass Creek, Wyoming by Louis Rankin.
